What is your role in the charity?
Information and Support Radiographer
How long have you worked for the charity?
I started a secondment from by clinical role in October 2019 and the role was made permanent in March this year.
What role were you in before joining the charity?
My previous role was a Clinical Therapeutic Radiographer in Radiotherapy at Weston Park Hospital.
What do you enjoy most about working at the charity?
I enjoy that every day is different – you never know who you may meet. And the fact that there is always food on the go is a bonus!
What is an activity/hobby that you have started doing during lockdown?
I am usually a gym goer – but as they are closed for now I have really enjoyed walking in my local area… its amazing what you find at your doorstep!
What are you most looking forward to doing after lockdown?
I am so looking forward to giving my friends and family a huge hug most of all, and to be able to go on holidays again.
What’s the best advice you have ever been given?
‘We can’t change the past, we can’t change the future, but we can change right here, now’
What helps you the most when you are having a difficult day?
Sometimes I like to look at old photos from different stages in my life to now and realising how happy I was in all of them.
