One off projects

This covers capital builds, equipment purchases, research activity or staffing to deliver transformational and exceptional change.

Examples:

Development of the Clinical Research Unit; building of the Clinical Trials Centre

Funding:

No limit set. Total funding available to be confirmed, depending on the project, its strategic fit and the strength of the Charity’s finances

Approval process and deadline:

In the first instance you will need to discuss with the Charity Director, followed by an initial application in writing. You will need trustee approval to proceed with the application, and this is followed by a peer review process. For successful proposals, a working group will be formed to progress the necessary actions.

Approval timescale:

Will vary by project but likely to be a few months for smaller, less complex projects but anything up to a year for more complex and costly initiatives, and will need to be consistent with fundraising appeal timescales.
