Are you affected by a brain tumour?

If you are affected by a brain tumour, Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity currently holds online support groups for people living in Sheffield on the first Tuesday of every month.

The sessions will soon be changing to face-to-face meetups and will be held on Saturday mornings at Weston Park Cancer Support - date to be confirmed soon.

A collaboration between Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity, Weston Park Cancer Charity and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals, the group is a safe space for patients with both low- and high-grade brain tumours, as well as their carers, family members and loved ones.

People living in Sheffield and the surrounding areas can attend to speak to others going through a similar experience, share stories, ask questions or just chat.

The group welcomes anyone living across South Yorkshire or being cared for at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital or Weston Park Cancer Centre, at any stage of the patient journey and from any social and cultural background.

Led by Yorkshire’s Brain Tumour Charity’s experienced counsellors, the informal sessions are an opportunity to connect, socialise and get support from people who really understand.
