Ribbons of Hope 2026

These beautiful white and purple ribbons will each act as an individual tribute, bearing the name of someone special and will be handwritten by our wonderful volunteers.

Visitors can find their loved one’s name, before taking time to reflect in the park’s peaceful surroundings. There are also refreshments available in the park, and the Motore café coffee van will be donating 50p for every drink sold to our ribbon supporters.

This event is open to anyone who wants to remember someone special - they don’t need to have been cared for at Weston Park Cancer Centre.

Participants will be invited to make a donation of their choosing alongside their ribbon. This will enable us to fund vital cancer research, treatment enhancements, and support services for the one in two people in our region who will face cancer.

Bookings before Thursday 28th May will be guaranteed to be included in the main display on the Bridge of Remembrance and in alphabetical order.
