Freelance complementary therapists, counsellors and hypnotherapists

We are recruiting experienced complementary therapists (massage, reiki, reflexology and acupuncture), counsellors and hypnotherapists to join our freelance team. You will work directly with people living with or affected by a cancer diagnosis, supporting their physical and emotional wellbeing. You will work as part of a wider team of Health Care Professionals and charity staff helping local people live with and beyond cancer.

Counselling and Complementary Therapy Lead

This role is to lead and be responsible for the development, management and delivery of Weston Park Cancer Charity’s high quality, professional counselling and complementary therapy services for adults, and for children and young people, at the Cavendish Centre and in outreach locations.

This role supports the holistic well-being of service users, ensuring the services are safe, effective, accessible, and aligned with the charity’s values and objectives.

Buddies Co-ordinator

This role is to develop and co-ordinate Buddies, a vital peer support service which provides emotional and practical support for people living with or affected by cancer. They are matched with a trained volunteer who has either had cancer themselves or have cared for someone with cancer.

Administrative Assistant

Main purpose of post

  • To provide effective administrative support across the organisation, which will include minute taking and completion of expenses.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to HR processes, to ensure the efficient delivery of HR services and the accurate maintenance of employee records.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Work on administrative projects and time-limited pieces of work to help improve systems and processes.
  • Support colleagues from all different departments with increased activity at key times of the year, such as fundraising campaigns i.e., Christmas campaign, the governance meeting cycle and supporting our events.
  • Providing reception cover at our Support Centre, Cavendish Centre and Charity Hub when required.
