Campaigns Manager

  • Position: Campaigns Manager – Grade 5
  • Reporting to: Marketing Manager
  • Job location: Primary base on site; Weston Park Cancer Charity Hub, Whitham Road, Weston Park Cancer Support, Northumberland Road, Sheffield or Cavendish Support Centre, Wilkinson Street with some remote working.
    Event site working as required across South Yorkshire with
    occasional national events.
  • Hours: Full time - 37.5hrs per week
  • Salary: £32,889 - £38,978 (Our Policy is to recruit at the bottom of the salary grade, unless significant relevant experience can be demonstrated)
  • Contract length: Permanent

What you do...

The Campaign Manager will lead the development and delivery of engaging, audience-focused campaigns that raise awareness of the charity, increase understanding of cancer support services, promote grant-giving programmes, and help drive fundraising growth across the region.

The role will focus on bringing the charity’s impact to life through powerful storytelling, creative campaigns, and compelling content that demonstrates how the charity supports people affected by cancer and invests in hospitals, healthcare services, and local communities.

Working across fundraising, services, and communications, the Campaign Manager will develop integrated campaigns that inspire support, strengthen community engagement, and increase the visibility and reach of the charity.

Cancer Information and Support Coordinator

  • Position: Cancer Information Support Coordinator – Grade 4
  • Reporting to: Community Lead (HCP) – Grade 6
  • Job location: Primary base is the Big Purple Bus located at various locations across South Yorkshire, with a requirement to work from our Cancer Support Centre, Cavendish Centre and Charity Hub in Sheffield to cover service need.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week Monday-Thursday
  • Salary: Salary range £28,219 - £31,746 FTE per annum. (Our Policy is to recruit at the bottom of the salary grade, unless significant relevant experience can be demonstrated)
  • Contract length: Permanent

What you do...

As Cancer Information Support Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for people seeking information and support, responding to enquiries via telephone, email, digital channels, appointments, and drop-in services. You will manage and triage self-referrals and professional referrals, ensuring individuals are connected to the most appropriate services, colleagues, or partner organisations and receive timely, coordinated support.

You will provide high-quality information and support to people living with and beyond cancer, as well as their families, carers, and healthcare professionals. This will include assessing needs through Holistic Needs Assessments and Cancer Care Reviews, offering information and guidance, providing supportive listening, and developing action plans to promote self-management and wellbeing.

You will act as a key point of contact for ongoing support, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals and external agencies to coordinate care. You will also build and maintain strong relationships with primary care, secondary care, and voluntary sector partners to raise awareness of the charity and the support services available.
