Once applications close on 31st December 2025, the Weston Park Cancer Charity Grant-Giving Committee will review the applications in the New Year.
We are aiming to make a decision by March 2026 with successful projects commencing from April 2026 onwards.
For an application form, please email our team: grants@wpcancercharity.org.uk.
Research grants
Our research grants fund research projects to improve our understanding and treatment of cancer, by investing in medical, scientific and care-related research that can enable people to live longer or better lives with or beyond cancer. This includes pre-clinical lab projects, clinical trials, and studies into the cancer experience.
Read more about our current research projects here.
Our research grants will also undergo external peer review by experts from national and international institutions. Applicants are invited to suggest reviewers or to request specific reviewers not be contacted. Applicants are given the opportunity to respond to reviewer comments.
