Look Good Feel Better

Weston Park Cancer Support and Look Good Feel Better work in partnership to deliver pampering workshops for women and Skin Fitness workshops for men who have had a cancer diagnosis.

This two-hour (for women) and one hour (for men) beautician-led workshop is relaxed, practical, informative and most of all, fun.

The sessions currently run with a maximum of six participants, all of whom will have had a cancer diagnosis and/or treatment. Everyone who participates will receive a bag full of skin and pampering/grooming products to take home.

Cancer treatment can cause challenges like changes to skin tone, redness, sparse eyebrows and eyelashes, thinning or loss of hair, brittle and damaged nails. Our sessions help combat all these issues and more with our experts demonstrating new skills and offering plenty of advice.

Our small group workshops have been held via Zoom during the pandemic, but are due to restart face-to-face.

They are relaxed and friendly and are lead by trained experts in either skincare and make-up, hair loss & wigs or nailcare.

Every session offers an opportunity to meet others in a similar situation, have a chat and ask questions. It’s a chance to focus on yourself and not your cancer. We aim for lots of learning and usually quite a bit of laughter – please book your place now.

“I needed to do something for myself. The beauty treatment day was such fun and no one talked about cancer. There is so much more to me than my cancer.”
