Course Breakdown
Maximising energy is especially important after a cancer diagnosis, as it can help improve fatigue, concentration, mood, sleep and overall productivity.
In this session, you will learn practical ways to keep your blood sugar levels stable to support steady energy throughout the day. The session will also explore the importance of staying well hydrated and how different drinks can impact your energy levels, helping you make informed choices that support your wellbeing.
This workshop will look at some of the more common problems that occur with our digestion that may be ongoing or have worsened as a result of treatments for cancer. This will include; heartburn, reflux, indigestion, appetite changes and bloating.
We will look at why things may have gone wrong, to better understand underlying causes and then consider how these issues can be improved.
Managing weight has many positive benefits. This workshop explores the science which underpins sustainable weight management.
You will learn how your food intake affects your weight, how to manage and be mindful of this, and how to balance what you eat with confidence. This course is useful whether you wish to lose weight, gain weight, or maintain a healthy weight.
If you have a history of eating disorders, please contact us to discuss whether this course is suitable.
There are many factors that can shape our behaviour and choices when it comes to food, some of which we may not even be aware of.
This workshop highlights some of these influences and triggers and discusses strategies to promote understanding and awareness, so that you can make positive, healthy and long-lasting changes.
Are you worried about eating well when the cost of healthy food is rising?
This session provides a wealth of practical tips about how to reduce food waste, how to plan meals, what to shop for, cooking tips, and explains why some of the cheapest foods are healthier than you think.
Everyone can be influenced by popular dietary trends and a cancer diagnosis may leave us feeling more vulnerable in this area. This myth busting session tackles a range of nutritional topics, particularly in relation to foods and dietary patterns which may affect cancer risk.
An hour long question and answer session with Delphine and Helen. This is your opportunity to ask more questions.
