Reed Sheffield marks ten years of support with egg-stra special Easter donation

The Sheffield branch of Reed gave over 250 Easter eggs to patients and staff at Weston Park Cancer Centre.

This week, staff at Reed in Sheffield brought Easter joy to Weston Park Cancer Centre by generously donating more than 250 chocolate eggs.

The Sheffield branch of the recruitment specialists collected the eggs from local businesses and organisations through their Big Reed Easter Egg Hunt appeal.

The Easter eggs were distributed throughout Weston Park Cancer Centre, and brought smiles to patients, family members, and hospital staff alike.

Reed Sheffield’s most recent act of kindness comes as the business celebrates ten years of support for Weston Park Cancer Charity.

Alongside their regular Easter egg donations, Reed Sheffield gifts chocolate selection boxes to the hospital at Christmas time. Over the past decade, the organisation has made more than 6,000 chocolate donations!

The business has also held charity football days to raise vital funds for people living with cancer.

Phil Candy, Business Lead at Reed said:

“I’d like to thank all of the organisations that supported the Big Reed Easter Egg Hunt appeal.
“Weston Park Cancer Charity provides so many fantastic services which make a huge difference to local people who are facing cancer.
“We’re thrilled to be celebrating 10 years of support for the charity, and we look forward to contributing to their important work in the years ahead.”

Sam Heritage, Fundraising Manager at Weston Park Cancer Charity said:

“We’re so grateful to the staff at Reed Sheffield for spreading Easter cheer across the hospital.
“Over the past ten years, Reed Sheffield have supported us in so many ways, and we’d like to say a heartfelt thank you for their energy, enthusiasm, and commitment.”
