Weston Park Cancer Charity Rounds Up Mental Health Awareness Week

We understand that a cancer diagnosis can profoundly impact not only physical health but also mental and emotional well-being. That’s why we’re dedicated to providing comprehensive support to help you and your loved ones navigate this journey.

Our Services

Health Walks with Sheffield United Community Foundation Staying active can significantly improve mental health, and our health walks, facilitated by the Sheffield United Community Foundation, are designed to do just that. These guided walks offer a chance to get moving in a supportive group setting, connect with others, and enjoy the natural beauty around us.

Coffee Mornings with the University of Sheffield Join us for our regular coffee mornings, at The Wave, University of Sheffield. These gatherings provide a relaxed and welcoming environment to share experiences, find support, and build friendships. Whether you’re looking for a listening ear or simply a bit of company, our coffee mornings are here for you.

Art Therapy Creative expression can be a powerful tool for healing. Our art therapy sessions offer a safe space to explore your emotions and reduce stress through various artistic mediums. No artistic skill is required—just an open mind and a willingness to try something new.

One-to-One Emotional Support Sometimes, you need someone to talk to who understands what you’re going through. Our health care professionals provide confidential one-to-one emotional support, helping you work through your feelings and develop coping strategies tailored to your personal needs.

Welfare Support Navigating the financial and practical challenges that come with a cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming. Our welfare support services are here to assist with benefits advice, financial grants, and practical support to help ease the burden.

Yoga Nidra and Relaxation Sessions Relaxation techniques can play a crucial role in managing stress and improving overall well-being. Our Yoga Nidra and relaxation sessions offer guided practices to help you achieve deep relaxation, reduce anxiety, and enhance your mental clarity. These sessions are perfect for unwinding and finding a sense of peace amid the challenges of a cancer diagnosis.

And Many More... In addition to these core services, Weston Park Cancer Charity offers a variety of other programs and support options. From mindfulness workshops and nutrition advice to peer support groups and relaxation therapies, we are committed to providing holistic care that addresses all aspects of well-being.
